He was born on October 22, 1982 in Istanbul. He received his primary education in Bursa and started studying acting in Theater Department of Haliç University. After receiving his training, he passed an audition for Bakırköy Municipality Theaters. He took part in productions such as Suskunlar (the Quite Ones), Eyvah Eyvah, Eyvah Eyvah 2, Prensesin Uykusu (Sleep of a Princess), Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne (What is Fatmagül’s Fault?), and finally played the leading role in the TV show called Şubat (February) on 2012 along with Melisa Sözen. He is famous for playing the part of “Şubat”. On 2013, he acted alongside acknowledged actors such as Beren Saat, Yiğit Özşener, Nejat İşler, Mert Fırat in the TV Show “İntikam”, which had been adapted from an American TV Show of the same title. On 2014, he played the leading role with Buğra Gülsoy and Aslı Enver in the TV show titled “Bana Artık Hicran De” (Call Me Hicran From Now On). He acted in a high budget, Japan-Turkey joint producted movie Ertuğrul 1980, and a romantic comedy movie called Çok Uzak Fazla Yakın (Too Far, Too Close). On 2015, he got nominated for 20th Sadri Alışık Awards “The Best Leading Male Lead” in Comedy, Musical or Musical Theater with his role in “the Animal Farm”. On 2017, he recieved awards “The Best Production of Year” at the 21st Afife Jale Theater Awards and “Selecting Commmitte Special Award” at the 22nd Sadri Alışık Awards for his game “Gülünç Karanlık” (Amusing Darkness) played at Bakırköy Municipality Theaters. The same year, he played a leading role in the movie called “Aşk Uykusu”(Love Sleep), directed by Nisan Akman. Yücesoy is also a leading role in the TV show titled “Küçük Şeyler” (Small Things), directed by Kıvanç Sezer and recieved the “Best Leading Male Actor” award at the 33rd Herceg Novi - Montenegro Film Festival.
